How much does contractor accommodation cost per night in Manchester?

Contractor accommodation in Manchester costs £180 a night for Beacon Living Group's whole four-bedroom house in Wythenshawe, dropping to £162 a night from 7 nights and £135 a night from 28 nights.

• The stay is a single night. Briar House takes bookings from two nights at weekends, three on weekdays.
• Two of you on a short stay. The maths is close and a hotel may edge it, though from 28 nights the monthly rate flips it back.
• You want daily housekeeping and a cooked breakfast without lifting a finger.
• Company travel policy or loyalty points tie you to a chain.

That still leaves most stays for most crews. On those the house wins on cost and comes with space a hotel cannot offer.

What about Airbnb?

Briar House is listed on Airbnb and Booking.com. The cheapest way to book it is neither.

The house is identical whichever channel you book. The calendar is the same too. What changes is the price you pay, because a platform takes a commission on every booking it brings and a direct booking does not carry one.
